About Linella
Linella was founded on 17th of October 2001, when was inaugurated our first counter-service store, at Ciocana. Thus, every year at this time celebrate the company day.In time the business has grown really quickly thanks to the efficient management and to the favorable placement of the stores. Therefore the founders started thinking about expansion and began to search locations for new stores, taking into consideration another way of organization the trade process – self-service.
As a result, in 2004 were opened 3 self-service stores, one by one, every 3 months: on the 18th of March, 18th of June and 18th of September. This way, the company starting the year with only 20 employees, reached by the end of the year 2004 a number of about 100 members. During 2006 there was opened another supermarket at Buiucani, which is the largest Linella store at the moment. In 2008 we inaugurated the sixth Linella supermarket at Botanica. The year 2009 was market by the opening of another self-service store at Ciocana. Four more supermarkets have been inaugurated in 2010: on the 26th of March – 2 stores (one at Riscani and the other one at Posta Veche) and on the 16th of December – another store at Ciocana.
Recently, in 2011, was opened the first Linella store outside the capital, at Telenesti. At the moment the network includes 10 stores in different regions of the country, our team consisting of over 500 professionals.
In the same year the company Linella has celebrated 10 years of activity on the local market, 10 years of understanding, 10 years of prosperity and continuous development. We are proud that we are present on the Moldovan market and that we are the first national chain of food markets!
Our aim is to be the customers’ first choice in terms of fresh products, Moldavian traditional cuisine and high quality service – and all presented in the most friendly and pleasant environment. The quality and the freshness of the products are definetely our main priorities, next to a unique traditional Moldavian atmosphere, aiming to ensure the confort of acquisition and the direct access to all a wide range of products.
Through continous investments in high-performance technologies (ovens for bakery products, new types of shelving for a more effective exposure of the products, centralized refrigeration systems, new lightning technologies, etc.), Linella keeps focusing on the quality of the products, on qualitative service and advantageous prices in order to provide our customers a great shopping experience.
